Women's Sound & Canvas Evening:
Soundscape, Art & Connection
2nd August 4pm - 7.30pm Higher Botrea Farm, TR20 8PR £55
During this evening retreat experience the relaxation & sacred resonance of Intuitive Soul's sound bath and capture your experience, visions, dreams on canvas
​
On arrival you will be greeted & welcomed into our new star canopy situated in the ope field of Higher Botrea Farm with views from Lamorna to Botallack.
​
Once settled into the space Aga will play a bespoke sound journey that your mind & body will experience on a cellular level. Following this experience you will be guided to recall your minds journey and shown how to transfer this to canvas.
You will leave feeling restored & renewed: reconnected to self, supported & held in a community of women, enlived through creativity and grounded in nature.
Experince a 1hour sound bath featuring crystal bowls and gongs by Aga of Intuitive Soul. During the sound bath you enter a deeply meditative state as your mind & body responds to the sounds.
​
On awakening capture marks, visions, words, feelings in your journal whilst enjoying a reviving cup of Vanilla Chai. Then take up your paintbrush and transfer your experince to canvas using acrylic paint, oil pastels, pencils and markers to create your intuitive artwork.
​
All whilst enjoying a tipple or 2 of local beverages: Pentire "G&T" 0% / Wild Life Botanicals "wine" 0.5% / Jubblys sodas 0% served with nibbles

Hosted in our star canopy stretch tent, out in the open field this experience connects you to nature, your innerself & a community of women.
​
Please dress appropriately for the weather and lying still for an hour outside (under canvas), you are welcome to bring additional pillows/bolsters to ensure your comfort.

Wild Women, Quiet Paths:
Ancient Landscapes, Art & Connection
16th August 10am - 6.30pm Higher Botrea Farm, TR20 8PR £75
A day retreat offering connection to self, nature, community & creativity as we explore the ancient paths to & landscape of Carn Euny
​
Walking the ancient paths of West Penwith from Botrea to Carn Euny we will explore how our senses connect us with nature along the way & draw inspiration on the journey to create a mixed media artwork.
​
We visit the ancient site of Caer Bran before arriving at the Ancient Village of Carn Euny. Here we explore the ancient land through creativity before journeying back to Samnian where we hold circle & collaborate to complete our mixed media artworks.
You will leave the day feeling restored & renewed: reconnected to self, supported & held in a community of women, enlived through creativity and grounded in nature.
During this full day workshop you will create your own, mixed media artwork utilising a variety of technique, materials and medias to produce a piece evocative of the day and your experience. All materials are provided including sketchbook & drawing materials / canvas / paints / pastels / photo printer. Additional materials and art forms may be included this is dependent on the weather and time of year.
​
Throughout the day you will be guided on how to connect yourself to nature and your creativity. Your creative practice will be intuitive with prompts & guidance provided. You will work on a series of different artworks & techniques during the day before bringing them together in a collaborative circle setting to finalise your mixed media artwork. Your artwork will be available to take home at the end of the day.
​
At Samnian you will enjoy locally made cake, tea & coffee.
